Ethel's Mask

Ah! Frog Kisses! Best medicine for a beee-ah-u-ti-ful complexion!

Ethel's Mask

Instead of attaching this mask around your head, you carry it on a stick and peek out mysteriously and silently when you don't want the other goblins and witches to know who you are.

Supplies: Heavy piece of cardboard to back up mask. Poster board, old manilla folders, whatever you can recycle that will hold its shape. The mask will be glued to it after it is colored and cut out.

Glue that will not wrinkle paper when applied.

A stick for a handle. This can be short or long, depending on your preference. A dowel would work fine. Also, you could try a piece of dried curley willow or some other interesting branch the right size and length. Tape or glue this to the back of the mask. If using tape, use packing tape.

Colored pencils or felt tip pens will work best for this project.

Consider using glitter or glitter glue or glow in the dark paint on the mask too.

How to: Download mask and cut out eye holes. Put the mask on the heavier cardboard and out line the eye holes with a pen or pencil. These holes may require an Exacto knife to cut, ask a parent or grown up to help you.

Cermit

Color mask, cut out, and glue to cardboard backing, matching the eye holes. Then cut the backing around the mask. If edges are rough, hide them with glitter glue….great Stuff!!!
